John Hornor Jacobs is the award-winning author of Southern Gods, This Dark Earth, the young adult Incarcerado series, and The Incorruptibles, Foreign Devils, and Infernal Machines. His fiction and essays have (or are slated to appear) in Playboy, Cemetery Dance, Apex Magazine, Huffington Post, and CBS Weekly. Jacobs resides in the American South and spends his free time when not working on his next book thinking about working on his next book.
