Kendra Fortmeyer is a Pushcart Prize-winning writer whose fiction has appeared or is forthcoming in The Best American Nonrequired Reading 2016, One Story, The Toast, Lightspeed, and elsewhere. She attended the Clarion Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers’ workshop in 2016, and received her MFA in fiction from the New Writers Project at UT Austin.
