Emmy Jackson is the author of the “Empty Cradle” trilogy of post-apocalyptic novels, whose story continues in serial form on Patreon. A Detroit-born University of Michigan graduate, they spent six years in white-collar marketing jobs, followed by fifteen years as an automotive journalist. While working as a freelance writer and school bus driver, they disappeared down a rabbit hole of alternate plans and making stuff. Emmy spent several years as a full-time RV nomad before returning to Detroit. Emmy lives just outside Detroit, with four rescued cats and ten rescued cars.
