Daniela Tomova was raised by a herd of feral books in an underground library. She draws her inspiration from Balkan folklore, the worlds of Ray Bradbury, the dreams of Andrei Tarkovsky, and the everyday magic of people who live in the ruins of countless civilizations. She is a Bulgarian-Norwegian writer and a graduate of Clarion Writers’ Workshop. Her work has been published in Apex Magazine, Tor, Best Horror of the Year, Best of World SF, and elsewhere. Data scientist by day, she lives in an abandoned airport in Oslo, Norway with her partner and their cat.
