How to Transition to a Career as an Author
It's not easy being a full-time author. How do you leave your day job and past careers behind and become a writer? It takes time. I'll share my process, how I first started writing seriously at the age of 40, and how 15 years later now I've run a small press and magazine, published four novels and four collections, edited four anthologies, published over 134 original stories, been nominated for major awards, and turned my hobby into my profession. Becoming an overnight success usually takes years of hard work.
