How to Transition to a Career as an Author

$ 30.00

It's not easy being a full-time author. How do you leave your day job and past careers behind and become a writer? It takes time. I'll share my process, how I first started writing seriously at the age of 40, and how 15 years later now I've run a small press and magazine, published four novels and four collections, edited four anthologies, published over 134 original stories, been nominated for major awards, and turned my hobby into my profession. Becoming an overnight success usually takes years of hard work.

Date: July 25th

Time: 8:00 PM Eastern

Skill Level: All

What to bring: Your notepad!

Expectations: Audio required. Video is preferred, but not necessary.

After the workshop is completed, you will be provided a digital packet containing lecture materials and any pertinent resource links.

After you purchase your workshop ticket, you will receive an email and SMS notification that contains a private link to our Zoom URL. If you do not receive this link, let us know. A reminder will be sent 24 hours prior to the workshop and again 10 minutes prior to the workshop. Be sure to have jason@apexbookcompany.com on your mail server's whitelist to ensure that you don't miss any communications.
