ABOUT APEX MAGAZINE

Apex Magazine is an digital journal of fantastical fiction. We publish short stories filled with marrow and passion, works that are twisted, strange, and beautiful. Creations where secret places and dreams are put on display. We release in two forms: a quarterly eBook issue and a gradual release of the entire issue online between quarterly releases. Along with the genre short fiction, there are interviews with authors and nonfiction essays about current genre matters.

Apex Magazine Issue 80, January 2016, features a surreal sci-fi cover of a man in a suit with a TV for a head and includes interviews, short stories, story titles, and author info.
A person with an umbrella stands in a vivid green field beneath a dramatic blue sky on the cover of Apex Magazine Issue 69, with the magazine title and text displayed at the top.
