Being from Kentucky, it's been difficult watching the cruel rhetoric and painful attacks on the LGBTQ community that our political and spiritual leaders are spearheading. I know I have friends who are feeling betrayed and, frankly, scared by the recent actions of bigoted zealots. And even if you think you don't know anyone harmed by the hate speech and attack on LGBTQ rights, I'm willing to bet that you do.
Apex Book Company will be donating 10% of all our website book sales made during June to the Tennessee Equality Project (TEP). The TEP advocates for the equal rights of LGBTQ people in Tennessee where anti-LGBTQ legislation has been especially harsh.
