Social Media Manager
Apex Publications, LLC is looking for a part-time social media manager to create and schedule promotional posts for Apex Book Company and Apex Magazine.
Job Requirements:
- Oversee our three primary social media outlets: Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook.
- Create simple promotional graphics in each platform’s preferred image size based on copy provided by the Apex editorial team.
- Engage with our audience and direct any support questions to the editorial team.
- Post updates to our social media platforms.
- Familiar with social media culture.
- Able to use Discord to communicate with the editorial team.
- Help construct a social media calendar in coordination with team editors.
Nice, but not necessary:
- Basic graphic design skills.
- Familiar with Canva.
Job Details
- 100% remote
- 10 hours a month approximately
- $10 per hour
- This is a 1099 position.
Apex highly values our social media accounts as they are the easiest way for us to share information with our readers and a fun way to interact with others in the genre. Our ideal candidate is someone with fantastic organizational skills who enjoys the interactive component of the job.
