I hope this counts as “Dark Fantasy,” but my favorite book that I categorize as Dark Fantasy is “Soldiers Live” by Glen Cook.
Sounds like a great book! My favorite Dark Fantasy novel (though I have many) is the Kate Daniels series by Ilona Andrews.

Great competition idea, and a hard question – my FAVOURITE dark fantasy novel huh. I’d probably say that Laurell K Hamilton’s Anita Blake series falls into there, and if I had to pick just one I’d go with Circus of the Damned – dark, twists, power struggles, a bit of steam – a tick in every box really.
Wow. AND FALLING, FLY sounds so original. Count me in for the giveaway.
My favorite dark fantasy novel? Does Urban Fantasy count? If so I really enjoyed Jordan Summers’ RED.
My favorite dark fantasy novel? I don’t really have a favorite, but I love Jeaniene Frost’s Night Huntress series. Technically it is urban fantasy, but it is pretty dark. I have heard good things about And Falling, Fly and would love to read it.
My cuurent favourite dark fantasy is Jennifer Estep’s Spider’s Bite. And Falling Fly definitely sounds like a great read!
My favourite Dark Fantasy novel is Three Days to Dead by Kelly Meding.

The synopsis sounds really good! My favorite dark favorite novel or rather novels are the Sookie Stackhouse series, I guess they count as dark fantasy.
I haven’t read much dark fantasy so can’t really select a favorite.

I’m not exactly sure what qualifies as dark fantasy but I noticed someone else put Carrie Ryan’s The Forest of Hands and Teeth, and that is definitely one of my faves

Don’t know if I read a lot of dark fantasy, but I like McGuire’s Rosemary and Rue and Kelly Gay’s The Better Part of Darkness.
I hope The Better Part Of Darkness by Kelly Gay is one of the Dark Fantasy novel books, coz i love this book !

my favorite dark fantasy novel would be The Mortal Instruments series, well, thats not a novel, and is technically urban fantasy, but it’s still pretty dark. another one would be FADE TO BLUE by Sean Beaudoin. and Falling, fly by Skyler White looks really REALLY good. I wanna read it soooo bad. I’ve entered EVERY contest on GoodReads.com and didn’t win. Evn when it comes out, my family won’t have the money to buy it. :(
This book is on my wishlist. As for my favourite, so many to choose from… out of the books I’ve read lately, loved Jennifer Estep’s Spiders Bite.
