Apex Publications is happy to announce the acquisition of Snow Over Utopia by Rudolfo A. Serna.

Snow Over Utopia is a dark science fiction novel that weaves lyrical prose, a literary sensibility, and satire. Set in a future built on the wreckage of our civilization and environment, the story follows Eden in her quest to find Utopia and to have her sight returned.

From the author:

It is a genre bending short novel of apocalyptic fantasy, sci-fi psychedelia, and doom metal.

In an age of savage science powered by black-mass, and thrown away bio-matter leaked into an underground sea lit by the heart of the great tree. The novel starts with Eden losing her rare blue eyes to fanatical and sadistic slave masters. Escaping with a murderer named Miner, she is found by the Librarian and his daughter, the huntress, Delilah, in a mountain-top sanctuary. Eden must go on through time and space in a necrotronic stream generated be the living computer program called Witch Mother.

Snow Over Utopia is a complex novel that demands the reader piece together the story behind the story. It is a rich, almost addictive read, that left us yearning to go back to the beginning and start Eden's story all over again as soon as we had finished it.

Slated to be released in early 2019, we are thrilled to be bringing Snow Over Utopia to our readers and look forward to the chance to discuss every detail and intricacy of this twisted world.
