The preliminary Stoker Award ballot

The HWA released their preliminary Stoker Award ballot. This is the final culling before the HWA announces the nominees.

Two Apex titles made the list!

Superior Achievement in a Collection:
Taste of Tenderloin by Gene O’Neill

and

Superior Achievement in an Anthology:
Harlan County Horrors edited by Mari Adkins

If you’re an Active HWA member and would like to read one or both of these books before you vote for the final ballot, email me at jason@apexbookcompany.com. Both PDF and physical copies of the books are available.

Your final Stoker reminder

If you’re a member of the HWA, don’t forget that 1-15-10 is the last day for Stoker recommendations.

Apex Publishing has a number of books and short stories that are Stoker eligible. At this stage of the game, we’re only able to offer PDFs of our books, but if you’d like one or more to read for Stoker consideration then let me know.
