We’re pleased to share the news that Ekaterina Sedia’s Apex Magazine story “The Mind of a Pig” receive a Black Quill Award nomination in the category of Best Dark Scribble (single work, non-anthology short fiction appearing in print or virtual magazine).
For a full list of nominees visit the Dark Scribe Magazine announcement.
This is a fan voted award, so that means YOU can vote for Ekaterina (or others you deem worthy). To vote, go here. Note: You do have to register but it is painless and it’s been our experience that the Dark Scribe folks never share your email address or send out emails to your account.
Last year Fran Friel’s Mama’s Boy and Other Dark Tales won in the category for Best Dark Genre Fiction Collection.
Ekaterina Sedia recently won a World Fantasy Award (for her Paper Cities anthology). Now she’s up for a Black Quill. We have a feeling Ms. Sedia will have to fine a large display shelf for all the awards she’ll likely win over the years.
