It’s been a busy, busy week here in the Apex offices. We celebrated Women of Horror month, finished our 2012 Apex Magazine Reader Poll, pulled off a successful Kickstarter, and made intellectual discourse over some stories in Dark Faith: Invocations. Apex hits the town(s)

February 23rd Bookmamas in Indianapolis, IN is hosting a book event for Dark Faith: Invocations from 4-6pm with editors Maurice Broaddus and Jerry Gordon in attendance, plus Lucy Synder, Gary Braunbeck, Kyle Johnson, and RJ Sullivan. Publisher Jason Sizemore and Senior Editor Janet Harriett will also be there.

That same day, social media and marketing editor Lesley Conner will be joining Scott H. Andrews, Damien Walters Grintalis, Rahul Kanakia, and moderator Sarah Pinsker for a round table discussion titled, “From Slush to Sale: Behind the Scenes at Science Fiction Magazines” at the Baltimore Science Fiction Society starting at 8pm.
