The Apex Book of World SF 2International Speculative Fiction is a site dedicated to making non-anglophone science fiction more accessible by bringing you a variety of stories, articles and interviews focusing on international authors for free on their site. Currently, editor-in-chief Roberto Mendes is working with Apex to feature our own international anthologies, The Apex Book of World SF and The Apex Book of World SF 2, both edited by Lavie Tidhar.

This past Tuesday Roberto interviewed Jason Sizemore about the importance of reading international authors and why he decided to published a book of international science fiction.

On Wednesday “Zombie Lenin” by Ekaterina Sedia was posted on the site. The story is one of many in The Apex Book of World SF 2.

There’s also a giveaway in the works. International Speculative Fiction is going to post a series of questions about Apex and The Apex Book of World SF series on their site. If you can answer the questions – the answers can all be found on the Apex website – then you can have a chance to win copies of The Apex Book of World SF and The Apex Book of World SF 2. I’ll be sure to let you know when the giveaway gets started.

Head on over to International Speculative fiction to read Jason’s interview and “Zombie Lenin”.
