“In my eyes, the story here that goes the longest toward upsetting this perfect Pushmi-Pullyu balance is “Time Ablaze.” Nicely portrayed Edwardian New York. Characters who have stronger feelings than their counterparts in other Burstein tales. Life-or-death issues. Some fairly novel speculative notions about time-travel paradoxes. Authorial excitement.”
